Customer Protection Insurance (for Cards)

Customer Protection Insurance provides peace of mind for RCS card account customers.

* Please note that Customer Protection Insurance is ONLY available in conjunction with an RCS Card for customers up to the age of 65.

Customer Protection Insurance (available to RCS card account customers) covers death, retrenchment, temporary and permanent disability.

Death & Permanent disability cover:

• Pays the outstanding balance on your RCS card account (provided that your account is paid up to date) of up to R10 000 in the event of your death or permanent disability

Temporary disability & Retrenchment cover:

• Pays your instalments for up to 6 months if you are retrenched or temporarily disabled 

Customer Protection Insurance is underwritten by Guardrisk Insurance Company Limited (Reg. No. 1992/001639/06), a licensed short term insurer and an authorized financial services provider (FSP Licence number 75). * Please note that Customer Protection Insurance is ONLY available in conjunction with an RCS Personal Loan.

Customer Protection Insurance (available to RCS Personal Loan account customers) covers death, retrenchment, temporary and permanent disability.

Death, Permanent disability & Retrenchment cover:

• Pays the outstanding balance on your RCS Personal Loan account (provided that your account is paid up to date) of up to R100 000 in the event of your death, permanent disability or being retrenched

Temporary disability cover:

• Pays your instalments for up to 6 months if you are temporarily disabled
