The RCS Group is an independent, financial services company operating in South Africa, Namibia and Botswana.  Since its inception in 1999 RCS has provided credit and financial services to more than one million customers.

RCS has since evolved to offer a diverse product range to customers, including private label cards, retail cards, personal loans and insurance.

The major shareholders in the RCS Group are The Foschini Group (55%) and Standard Bank (45%).  Both the shareholders are listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange.

At RCS we pride ourselves on our expertise in consumer lending, direct marketing, risk and analytics and currently have a staff compliment in excess of 850.

We actively support the National Credit Act, promote responsible lending and are a leading industry player in support of government's objective to combat over-indebtedness and reckless lending.

In addition to the RCS Card, The RCS Group also offers Private Label and Co-branded Card products:

Private Label Card (PLC)

The RCS Group operates retail credit programs on behalf of corporate retailers and these cards are exclusive to these stores. Currently we manage the following portfolio’s: Game, DionWired, Queenspark, Builders Warehouse, Builders Express, Builders Trade Depot and Tekkie Town.

Co-branded Card (CBC)

We also offer co-branded card programs on behalf of corporate retailers, which are also accepted throughout the RCS retail network. Currently we manage the following portfolio’s: Spitz, Kurt Geiger, Cape Union Mart, Old Khaki, Poetry, Galaxy, Tiger Wheel & Tyre, Busby Group and Coricraft.
